FAQ & ENGINEERING ANSWERS

Application Engineer FAQ

SCITEO's structured answers regarding physical properties, industry standards, operating procedures, and technical specifications.

Q

Temp range? How to choose?

A

Cryogenic type: −255–180°C. High-temp type: −40–1000°C. No single product covers −255–1000°C. Choose accordingly. Military sensors typically −55–180°C.

Q

Key bond strength metrics?

A

Shear strength: 1–2 MPa = low/reworkable, >10 MPa = high-strength. Peel strength: T-peel, 90°, 180°. SCITEO epoxies typically use T-peel testing; higher values indicate stronger adhesion.
